Best Value for Money!

Having read a recent article highlighting estate agents fees in Britain are amongst the best value anywhere in the world, it really got me excited! I know that for most people they will laugh but when I have been saying this for as long as I have been in this industry, it is nice to know that I am right.

The article highlights how other countries readily charge between 3 and 6% selling fees and some even as high as 10%! In Britain, agents fees range from 1.25% - 2.75% which is quite a staggering difference from our international counterparts.

There are two obvious areas to consider in relation to this; firstly, the house price will be higher in Britain than some countries, which could mean the amount actually paid for a service may not be that different. Secondly and most importantly, the service that is provided will vary. Whether it is due to multiple agents marketing or the involvement from an individual agent and the extent to which their service extends.
