In 1992 the average house price was a mere £68,634, this was the year that Bradleys Estate Agents launched the first of their offices in Exmouth, Devon. 30 years later the average house price sits at £268,349 and Bradleys Estate Agents have 30 offices selling and letting property across Devon, Somerset and Cornwall.
Whilst much has changed in the 30 years that Bradleys have been successfully operating, there are many things that have not changed. Bradleys Group Chairman explains “Our motto was created in 1992 and remains the same today; ‘People Serving People’, we feel this is just as relevant today as it was in 1992, perhaps even more-so. Our people are the best at what they do, they take pride in making sure people achieve their moving dreams, and our success has simply come by treating people as they would want to be treated themselves. I’m extremely proud of where we are as a group today and enjoy more than ever working with this excellent team of people, I want to thank everyone that has sold, let, purchased, used our Mortgage Team or our Chartered Surveyors, supported us and continues to do so.”
Part of the success of the last 30 years has been down to the constant strive to improve the knowledge and expertise of Bradleys team members, in order for everyone to be at the top of their game to provide the best service to their customers. With this in mind, Bradleys Estate Agents have their own Property Academy that focuses on thorough training and development of all staff supporting the enhancement of all of our customer’s experience. The celebration of each milestone of both staff and the company is imperative to stay grounded and in keeping with the company motto.
Bradleys Estate Agents were awarded Best Large Estate Agency in the UK at the prestigious Negotiator Awards at the end of 2021, a fitting way to celebrate their 30th year in the business as Managing Director, Chris Baxter explains “We’re proud to offer the best combination of traditional service focused around people with the best of technology, whether that be our property videos with drone footage, our immersive 3D property tours or state of the art website. The one thing that compliments the technology is having great people working in the business and fantastic customers that so often go on to become friends with many of our teams such is the relationship they create. To have been awarded this honour going into our 30th year it is a real achievement and credit must go to our teams across the group.”
With a number of plans in the pipeline to celebrate reaching this milestone, subject to the pandemic situation, such as a summer ball for their team members through to a primary school sponsorship programme which will be launched shortly. The Bradleys Group aims to continue supporting their communities across the region as a small way of saying thank you and helping those that need it most.
Keep your eyes peeled for Bradleys Estate Agents upcoming events revolving around their 30th year in the business.
