Agents Note This miners cottage was built Circa 1837 for George Nankervis who left Cornwall to mine silver in Nevada USA. After a brief period of ownership by the Prowse Family it was purchased in 1896 by the grandfather of the present owners for £40. His name was Nicholas Hocking Thomas who spent four years mining gold in South Africa enabling him to buy this cottage with a single payment on his return. This property comes to the market for the first time in 120 years and offers a wonderful opportunity to own a piece Cornish history, set within the designated Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty, Conservation Area, and Area of Great Historic Value.
