Guidance for Landlords & Tenants

- Tue 31 Mar 2020

With the ongoing lockdown situation we all find ourselves in, we have had to make various changes to the day to day running of our business. Below is a brief outline as to how this may affect all Landlords and Tenants, which we would be grateful if you were able to read prior to contacting us.

General Advice for Landlords and Tenants

We have relocated some key staff to work from home. Unfortunately, due to staff furloughing we are unable to provide a full service for the foreseeable future and will have to deal with enquiries on a strict priority basis.

We may not have all the answers for you at this time, but the Government has issued its latest Guidance for Landlords and Tenants (click the link to download) which may well answer your queries. Please read this before making contact with us, if you still have issues or questions you wish to raise please can we ask that you direct all future enquiries of an important nature to these relevant email addresses:

In the case of a serious nature only call 01752 348995 (within office opening hours only Monday to Friday 9am to 5pm)

You will understand that our staff are not able to answer "What happens if…?" questions as each person’s circumstances, whether this be tenant or landlord, are unique. Please therefore only contact us if you are directly affected in order that we may concentrate our efforts to help those in genuine and immediate need. In addition, we would also be grateful if you could not telephone our offices unless absolutely necessary due to the high call volumes we are currently experiencing. The Government advice is changing regularly and we are keeping this page updated as the situation progresses.

We thank you for your patience and understanding at the difficult time.

Rental Maintenance Issues

Tenants with a Maintenance issue should report it in the usual way online via : www.bradleys.fixflo.com Please be aware limited resources will be available and only emergencies will be able to be attended to while the country is in lockdown.

For existing or ongoing reported issues please email maintenance@beagroup.co.uk

Other issues of a serious nature can be reported on 01752 348995 during office hours only (9am to 5pm Monday to Friday)

Advice for Tenants

During these uncertain times it is essential that we all follow official Government information where there are concerns.

We would encourage all tenants to continue to pay their Rent in full and on time where they are able. In the event you are affected financially by Covid-19 please contact our offices by email to propertymanagement@beagroup.co.uk with an explanation of your circumstances. We will approach your landlord for their advices on the matter. Please be assured we are encouraging all landlords to work positively with tenants to provide support where needed throughout this difficult period however, please bear in mind some landlords may also find themselves in financial difficulty as a result of this virus.
