Brian moved to Exmouth in 1966 after education at Abingdon School in Berkshire. After two years at school in Exmouth he joined leading independent agent Lester Smith in 1968 and became a partner in 1978. When the firm was sold to Bristol and West Building Society in 1987, Brian served five years as Director and Regional Manager before leaving to form Bradleys in 1992. He is a Fellow of the Institute of Directors and a Fellow of the National Association of Estate Agents as well as a former Chairman of Exmouth Round Table. Brian’s responsibilities include Chairmanship of the Groups limited companies, overall strategy and management of the Group businesses.
Francis has been an Estate Agent since 1984 when he established Marshall’s in East Cornwall, which was awarded the inaugural title of Estate Agency Branch of the Year in 1992. Francis joined Bradleys in 1999 to continue the group’s expansion by setting up and running the Cornish offices. His role widened in 2008 to look after the Plymouth and Torbay offices and while Area Director for the Western Region, he had the additional responsibility of Company Compliance Officer, which naturally included group training. Francis is married with two daughters and when not working is a keen sailor and competes on the national and international stage. In December 2010 Francis was appointed Managing Director and works very closely with the Chairman and the board of Directors.
Lyndon started his Estate Agency career in 1977 in the London area with Bairstow Eves. He joined Lester Smiths in 1984, working in Exeter and Exmouth, before opening the Dawlish Office for Bristol & West in 1988. Lyndon, a founding Shareholder and Director, has dealt with many aspects of the groups business interests such as Asset Management, Customer Services, General Insurance, Relocation and Overseas Property. Since 2008 he has overhauled Bradleys Lettings business with a central management team in the Group’s Head Office, leading to a huge growth in properties let and managed by the firm. Throughout he has continued his role as Group IT Director and oversees the business relationships with many of the company’s suppliers. He is now focused on improving the professionalism and continued development of the Group’s Rentals business.
Chris has worked in the Estate Agency Industry since 1979 operating at all levels of the business from negotiator to Regional Director, within Somerset, Devon, Cornwall and Wiltshire. Latterly Chris owned his own Estate Agency business in Taunton, which was voted best independent estate agent in the region in 1994. Following the sale of his business and a break in the industry, he joined Bradleys Estate Agents in 1999 to oversee the latter stages of Bradleys expansion and to go on to establish and head up Bradleys Land and New Homes, Auction and Corporate Management Departments known collectively as Bradleys Corporate. Notable credits have been selling the most expensive residential development land in the South West in 2008 (equivalent to £11 million+ per acre) and taking his New Homes team to Dubai to sell new homes in the South West. Chris lives on the Blackdown Hills and in his spare time enjoys a diverse range of interests including running, stock rearing, bell ringing, Truffle hunting with Dolly the Labrador and is called on numerous occasions to run charity auctions.
Having joined Fox and Sons working in their Head Office in Exeter at the age of 17, after leaving Kings School Bruton in Somerset, Richard has spent the last 31 years working throughout the West Country specialising in the sale of country houses, smallholdings and large townhouses. He has a wide knowledge of the area having lived and worked in Devon, Cornwall and Somerset. Richard currently lives on the outskirts of Exeter with his wife and two dogs. He enjoys a number of sports, is a keen cyclist and a golfer with a single figure handicap. He is the Director responsible for the successful expansion of the Bradleys brand into the higher end of the property market and caters for our high net worth clients, giving individual marketing and promotional advice. He works in conjunction which with all 33 branches.

In support of our aims, many years ago Bradleys became members of the National Federation of Property Professionals (NFOPP) whose aim is ‘to promote the highest standards of professionalism and integrity among those working within the property industry’.
Our membership ensures that we are bound by strict professional guidelines set down by Propertymark, the UK’s specialist awarding organisation offering national, industry recognised qualifications in property and property related disciplines.
We have multiple staff across our branch network who are qualified in the sale of residential property as well as residential letting and property management through the Property mark scheme.
In addition to the above, we comply with the law regarding the protection of tenancy deposits through the Tenancy Deposit Scheme; a government approved deposit protection service.
In addition, these professional bodies require us to hold Professional Indemnity and Client Money Protection for our customers’ complete peace of mind.
