Covid-19 update – March 2020

Following the latest advice from the Government, our offices will be closed and a limited number of staff will be working from home for the foreseeable future and therefore our service may be affected at this time.

Considering the health and safety of our customers, team members and the wider community we will not be conducting any face to face appointments, so please do not request for us to do so.

We are able to provide virtual valuation and viewing appointments upon request.

All enquiries should be made to the local office via their usual telephone number or email address, due to the lower volumes of staff at this time, we would ask that you are understanding with our response times, although we will be aiming to maintain our usual high standards where possible.

General Advice for Landlords and Tenants

We have relocated some key staff to work from home. Unfortunately, due to staff furloughing we are unable to provide a full service for the foreseeable future and will have to deal with enquiries on a strict priority basis.

We may not have all the answers for you at this time, but the Government has issued its latest Guidance for Landlords and Tenants (click the link to download) which may well answer your queries. In addition, we would also be grateful if you could not telephone our offices unless absolutely necessary due to the high call volumes we are currently experiencing. Rental Maintenance Issues

Tenants with a Maintenance issue should report it in the usual way online via : www.bradleys.fixflo.com Please be aware limited resources will be available and only emergencies will be able to be attended to while the country is in lockdown.

We would encourage all tenants to continue to pay their Rent in full and on time where they are able. In the event you are affected financially by Covid-19 please contact our offices by email to propertymanagement@beagroup.co.uk with an explanation of your circumstances. We will approach your landlord for their advices on the matter. Please be assured we are encouraging all landlords to work positively with tenants to provide support where needed throughout this difficult period however, please bear in mind some landlords may also find themselves in financial difficulty as a result of this virus.

We will continue to progress the sale/purchase via the solicitors where possible. Should you wish to discuss a particular aspect of you transaction, please do not hesitate to contact us.

PLEASE BE AWARE that most solicitors are either advising that the exchanging of contracts and completion are to be done so simultaneously and therefore you will need to plan ahead in relation to removals or indeed any other services and the practical elements of exchanging and completing on the same day. Alternatively, it may be an option to exchange contracts with a long stop completion date agreed that can be brought forward if all parties agree to do so.

Contractors/Key Collection

Where it is agreed that keys are to be collected you must arrange this prior to collection with the local office and follow the strict procedures that will be explained to you
