32nd Anniversary celebrations at Bradleys HQ

It was that time of the year for the Bradleys Group summer BBQ as they celebrate their 32^nd Anniversary – although it wasn’t exactly BBQ weather last Friday, they still celebrated in style!

Every summer all the staff are invited to come to celebrate the anniversary of the first office opening in June 1992 in Rolle Street, Exmouth. With over 140 people in attendance making the most of the amazing food and drinks as well as the charity game that is invented each year, usually by Managing Director, Chris Baxter.

This year the game was ‘splat the rat’ a simple tasks of hitting the rat dropped through a tube. Most participants described it as ‘frustratingly addictive’ and due to the heavy rain limited the amount it was played although still raised £86.80, which will be donated towards Hospiscare as members of their 40 Club. Where every year 40 local businesses come together to commit to all raising a minimum of £1,000 each and Bradleys are again excited to be a part of this fantastic charity this year.

Group Chairman, Brian Bradley commented “It is lovely to see so many of our team members from across the company attending our mid-year update and BBQ right here at the head office in Exmouth where our journey began 32 years ago. I’m extremely proud of everyone here, along with our amazing customers who continue to make this all possible.”

Andy Hawkins, Bradleys Company Secretary cooked his famous ‘Andy’s Paella’ on the night that went down an absolute treat, with everyone coming back for more! We also had a wonderful Hog Roast, supplied by The Pig Apple, washed down with a variety of drinks.

Followed by a selection of doughnuts presented on two doughnut walls and an amazing blondie stack, created by Big Bakes Bakery!
