A wonderful morning with Hospiscare!

As proud members of the 40 club Ben, Manager of Bradleys Estate Agents Sidmouth, and Lucy Marketing Assistant from Bradleys Exmouth, recently attended a wonderful event in Exeter that illuminated the invaluable work of Hospiscare.

The 40 Clun was created in 2022 when the charity reached their 40th anniversary, which provided the opportunity for 40 local businesses to commit to all raising a minimum of £1,000 each. This event provided a fantastic chance to meet with the other businesses in the club, and great to find out more about how they are raising money and also hear how the money is supporting the charity.

Hospiscare provide specialist care to patients and their families living with life limiting illnesses across Exeter, Mid and East Devon. Their scope of services include support at home, a specialist palliative care ward, outpatient clinics and supportive therapies. Hospiscare has now been helping people for 41 years and supporting over 2000 patients a year.

Their dedicated team goes above and beyond to ensure not just the patients receive the medical, emotional, and spiritual support they need during trying times, but the families around them as well, as they raise around a whopping £10 million every year.

Bradleys are excited to continue to participate in sponsored events, such as fun runs, charity walks and cake sales. Ben commented; “It is an absolute pleasure to be involved in such a committed charity that gives so much back to the communities we have worked in for many years. I look forward to seeing this continue and look forward to raising even more money for this incredible cause.”
