Awards Evening 2019!

A superb evening was enjoyed by all that attended the annual Bradleys Awards Evening 2019 at our Head Office in Exmouth with over 150 staff members in attendance to find out who topped the tree within Bradleys for 2019.

The evening started with welcome drinks followed by Group Chairman, Brian Bradley, welcoming everybody and making an emotional tribute to two staff members that are retiring; Alison Wright the company’s HR Manager and PA to the Chairman and Ed Parker, Regional Manager.

The loyalty of individuals is always recognised each year and this year saw four team members receive a 25-year award; Sharon Webber, Tracey Manning, Karen Griffiths, and Karen Richardson. A tremendous level of respect and admiration was shown by all in attendance by the huge roar that greeted each of them. There were also four people receiving an award for 20 years of service; Chris Baxter, Fiona Taylor, Pat Yeo, and Nikki Heathcote, another amazing feat of loyalty. The Long Service Awards were brought to a close with a 10-year award for Davina Kilner.

The anticipation had built nicely when the main awards were announced and huge cheers of respect and appreciation for all the award winners, the cream of the crop, the best of the best! Manager of the Year saw Richard Martyn of the Newquay office collect the award. Office of the year was as close as ever and after a tense build-up was announced as Liskeard office, who were already celebrating Nikki Heathcote’s 20th year Long Service Award, then had even more cause for celebration when their Manager, Martin Durber was announced as Employee of the Year!

The awards were followed by a delicious buffet and disco with plenty of dancing a few rather well-earned drinks.
