Bradleys 10k success in perfect sunshine

With a light breeze and clear blue sky, the scene was set for the second Bradleys 10k event along Exmouth sea front to take place in 2022. With several runners participating in both events, trying to better their time from March, the conditions could not have been finer.

LM Events, the event coordinator had registered over 250 runners in the lead up with a handful registering on the day, there was certainly a buzz around Exmouth early on Sunday on morning.

Bang on 9am, the countdown started and the race was underway. It was a fairly straight forward race with the eventual winner, Daniel Cahill, leading from the start and finishing in an impressive time of 35 minutes and 10 seconds. The fastest lady, Claudine Benstead finished in 40 minutes and 58 seconds.

With only 1 runner this time around participating from the sponsors, Bradleys Estate Agents, Honiton Branch Manager, Joe Keep, managed to trim 4 minutes of his time from the March event finishing in a time of 54 minutes.

Bradleys Managing Director, Chris Baxter, commented "This proved to be another popular event to help raise money for MND, which is so important. It was great to see so many runners smiling on their way around the course and on a lovely sunny Sunday morning, it has to be one of the finest backdrops for any run. We look forward to the next one in 2023."
