Bradleys Continued Support for the Happiness Outdoors Project

Bradleys Estate Agents are proud to continue supporting the Happiness Outdoors Project (HOP) at Bowhill Primary School. The aim of HOP is to offer children regular opportunities to engage in practical, nature-based activities, helping them connect with the green spaces in their school grounds.

Over the past 11 weeks, the first 80 pupils have taken part in a variety of outdoor activities, regardless of the weather.

Throughout the term, students have been learning valuable skills in gardening and the safe use of tools. They’ve also had the opportunity to explore the plants and animals around the school, with some of the most memorable moments coming from their hands-on encounters with worms.

The children have enjoyed some fantastic activities, including making fresh apple juice from apples harvested from the Bowhill school orchard, creating ‘nature collages’, designing autumn leaf garlands and winter wreaths, and using bow saws and hammers to craft wooden ornaments.

We are incredibly grateful for the opportunity to support such a wonderful initiative that has already had a positive impact on the students and the wider school community. The feedback from both the pupils and staff has been overwhelmingly positive, and we look forward to continuing our support of the Happiness Outdoors Project in the next term.
