Bradleys Proudly Supports St Ives Bay 10K for the First Time

Bradleys Estate Agents was delighted to support the St Ives Bay 10K for the first time as runners took to the stunning Hayle coastline on Thursday evening. Bathed in glorious Cornish sunshine, the event once again showcased the very best of the local running community, attracting hundreds of competitors to tackle the challenging beach and dune course between Hayle and Gwithian. The race is organised by Hayle Runners and forms part of the Cornwall Multi Terrain Series, renowned for its spectacular scenery and demanding terrain.

The warm summer weather provided a perfect backdrop as runners set off from Hayle Surf Lifesaving Club, making their way along the beach before taking on the famous Towans trails and the infamous “Dune of Doom” before returning to the finish line. The atmosphere throughout the evening was fantastic, with supporters, volunteers and local businesses helping to make the event another memorable success.

For Bradleys, the evening marked an exciting milestone as the company joined the event as a sponsor for the first time, reinforcing its commitment to supporting community events across Cornwall, Devon and Somerset.

Nick Jewell Reflects on a Proud Evening

Nick Jewell, Manager at Bradleys in Camborne and a keen runner himself, was unable to take part due to injury but was thrilled to see the event enjoyed by so many competitors:

Although I was disappointed not to be on the start line this year due to injury, it was a real privilege to see Bradleys supporting the St Ives Bay 10K for the first time. Events like this bring communities together, celebrate healthy lifestyles and showcase some of the most beautiful parts of Cornwall. We are incredibly proud to play a small part in making these events happen and to support the fantastic work of the organisers and volunteers. The atmosphere on Thursday evening was outstanding and I’m already looking forward to our next event, the Marazion 10K on 26 September.

Following the success of the St Ives Bay 10K, attention now turns to the Marazion 10K on 26 September, another popular event in the Cornish running calendar which promises fast racing, stunning scenery and a fantastic community atmosphere.
