Sunday 2nd November saw a fantastic turnout for the Bradleys Sidmouth 10K, as runners and supporters gathered for a great morning of fitness in the autumn sunshine. The clear conditions made for ideal running weather, and the atmosphere around the course was full of encouragement and energy.
The race set off at 9am, with runners heading down through The Byes then running alongside the River Sid for much of the route before hitting the seafront, along the coastline before looping back on the return leg. Many of the runners commenting on the course stating it was a rewarding challenge however, it was wonderful to see so many smiling faces around the course and particularly on the approach to crossing the finish line.
The top three runners delivered outstanding performances:
• 1st Place: Jonathan Scott (Belgrave Harriers) — 35:19
• 2nd Place: Michael Sandiford (Fordy Runs Running Club) — 35:43
• 3rd Place: Sebastian Munday (Exeter Harriers Athletics Club) — 37:07
A huge well done to all three, and to every runner who took part.
We were also proud to see members of our own Bradleys team getting involved on the course. Budleigh Salterton Branch Manager, Robin Burne, put in a fantastic run, finishing in 48:39 - a brilliant achievement and a great representation of our team spirit.
The Bradleys Sidmouth 10K continues to be a highlight in the local events calendar, and we are thrilled to support an occasion that brings people together, encourages activity, and celebrates our community.
We look forward to welcoming everyone back in 2026!
