The Bradleys Sidmouth 10K once again proved to be a tremendous success on Sunday morning, with glorious weather, a fantastic atmosphere and a huge turnout of runners and supporters from across the region. The popular event, which started and finished at Sidford Social Hall, saw participants take on the challenging and scenic 10km route through The Byes, along Sidmouth seafront and around the event’s well-known hilly sections.
More than 250 runners completed the course, highlighting the growing popularity of the event and reinforcing its place as a key fixture in the local sporting calendar.
The men's race was won by Michael Sandiford in an outstanding time of 34:19, followed by Samuel Wyatt-Haines in 36:54, with Peter Monaghan taking third place in 37:49.
Ben Morgan, Branch Manager of Bradleys Sidmouth commented;
"We're incredibly proud to support such a fantastic community event. It was wonderful to see so many people taking on the challenge and enjoying everything the day had to offer. The weather couldn't have been better and the atmosphere around the course was incredible from start to finish. Events like the Bradleys Sidmouth 10K bring our community together and promote health, wellbeing and a real sense of local pride. Congratulations to everyone who took part and to the organisers and volunteers who helped make the event such a success."
Bradleys would like to thank all runners, volunteers, organisers and spectators for helping make this year's event another memorable occasion and looks forward to supporting the race again in the future.
