Bradleys Supports Happiness Outside Project

We are thrilled to support the incredible work of the Happiness Outside Project (HOP) at Bowhill Primary School, Exeter St Thomas, this term. As a local business, Bradleys Estate Agents takes pride in contributing to initiatives that make a positive impact on the community, and HOP is a perfect example of this.

HOP is an Exeter-based initiative dedicated to supporting children’s mental health and well-being through engaging outdoor learning experiences in nature. Over the past five weeks, their team has provided 40 pupils with regular opportunities to explore and connect with green spaces in the school grounds.

The children have participated in a variety of exciting and educational activities, rain or shine. They’ve learned practical skills in gardening and the safe use of tools, discovered the plants and animals living on the school site and enjoyed hands-on experiences, such as interacting with worms!

Some of the highlights include making fresh apple juice from the school orchard, creating beautiful nature collages and autumn leaf garlands and crafting wooden ornaments using tools safely. These experiences have not only been fun but also fostered valuable skills and a love for nature among the children.
