Last week saw some of the sharpest minds from each of the top 150 businesses in the Westcountry gather in Exeter to launch this year’s cream of the crop from our region. With presentations from Exeter Chiefs Chairman, Tony Rowe, and Bishop Flemings Managing Partner, Matthew Lee, the message was clear; we are in a strong position in the South West and the future looks to be set well for our region moving forward.
Bradleys Estate Agents were the only estate agency within this prestigious list, which is a clear sign of their continued success. When asked what has been their secret Managing Director, Francis Marshall commented ‘Our success and ability to innovate has been built around the complete property service. Our business isn’t just about selling and letting houses. The associated services being offered from each of our 33 offices allows buyers, sellers, landlords and tenants to instruct us and take advantage of some of the best services in the region, which in turn makes their dealings with us smoother, more professional and ultimately then go on to recommend us. This is highlighted by the awards we have won from the independent review website www.allagents.co.uk having awarded us ‘Best Customer Service in the UK’ for two years running.
Francis continues, ‘We made a decision to make our service more accessible and can now be contacted until 10pm during the week and 6pm at weekends via our Customer Service department. People can contact us to book valuations, viewings, appointments with our Independent Mortgage Advisers or even instruct one of our panel of local law firms we recommend to do their conveyancing. The public’s expectations of a business have changed and as the leading estate agency in the region, we have identified this and are seeing the benefits. To round it off we have taken our marketing to a new level, especially to cater for buyers out of the area, whether in this country or abroad, with the use of video and in particular our presenter led videos with drone footage for our sellers properties, which are proving hugely popular.’
Bradleys are a privately owned company with their board of directors based within the region and all playing an active role in the day to day running of the firm. Having launched the business in 1992 Chairman, Brian Bradley, wanted the complete property service to form the basis of the company and from there ensure the culture of retaining customers for life by providing the very highest quality service. Employing around 200 staff, they are the largest independent estate agency in the Westcountry with a dedicated training department to continually develop the employee’s knowledge and skills.’
