Brixham and Paignton go head to head in raising money for Rowcroft Hospice

On Friday 9th September, our Brixham and Paignton offices went head to head in a charity ‘spin off’ to raise money in aid of Rowcroft Hospice. A charity that supports adults living with life-limiting illnesses in South Devon and relies on support from the local community to carry on offering their care to patients in need of their support.

The event involved both teams located outside each of their respective offices cycling on spin bikes from 9.30am to 5pm. Both offices were overwhelmed by the support of their colleagues, families, friends and passing locals who jumped on the spinning bikes to show their support.

Debbie Kelly, Manager of our Paignton branch commented “It was a fantastic day raising money for such a great cause that helps so many people in the Torbay area. I am so proud of both the Paignton and Brixham teams in raising a total of £1,177 throughout the day! We look forward to coming up with a new fun way of raising money for Rowcroft Hospice in the future.”

On behalf of Brixham and Paignton, we would like to thank Torbay Leisure Centre for donating the bikes on the day and also Wemovals for kindly transporting the bikes to and from the centre for the offices.
