We are lucky enough to live in a part of the world where idyllic views and characterful seaside towns become the norm to us living in the South West. With that being said, those living in Budleigh Salterton are already aware of the picturesque town that they live in, but now the whole country knows it.
Budleigh has been recognised for being one of the ten best places to live in 2022 by the Sunday Times. According to the judges, ‘unspoilt’ Budleigh is no longer a sleepy retirement town and has become a hotspot for young families because of its lovely beaches and well renowned schools nearby.
The population has grown by 6% since 2020 and the average house prices have also risen to £445,000, according to data supplied to the Times by Halifax. Therefor homes in Budleigh have never been so desirable than they are right now.
Robin Burne, Manager of our Budleigh Salterton branch commented “We are very lucky to live in such a beautiful part of the country where we have stunning beaches on our doorstep as well as a thriving town filled with local businesses, great schools and even better pubs and restaurants! If you are either thinking of selling your home or looking to re-locate to our stunning coastal town, please do get in touch – we would love to help you in your property journey.”
