Some good weather recently which we are hopeful for at this time of the year, has put a spotlight on the Westcountry. And with the increased traffic on the road, bicyclists, runners and horse riders it seems around every corner, there is no doubt the Westcountry is the popular place to be. And, it has to be said, there is still a cracking demand for property. Buyers from London, Home Counties, Birmingham, even Hull, abound.
The message has to be – if you are thinking of selling, now is the time.
After all, who is to say what the market will be like in the cold and wet of January and February (I refuse to mention Christmas at this early time of year). Most of us hope inflation will get pegged back and interest rates will stay low. We all hope that some more normal times will return with Covid under control, Brexit settling down, NHS back to full time work, and the economy back to normal.
But who is to say what is going to happen? I believe the next six months will determine the basis of the property market for the next two years.
