Celebrating in true Bradleys style

Monday 1st June, 1992 saw our company, Bradleys Estate Agents, open our doors to the public for the first time. Thursday 1st June, 2017 witnessed our company turn 25 years old and with it, the team of over 200 staff that are now employed celebrate the landmark occasion.

From very early on, the tradition was formed to celebrate the company’s anniversary with a BBQ for the staff and this year was no different. Our Head Office in Stevenstone Road, Exmouth hosted this year’s BBQ to mark the occasion with all staff invited to attend the event. The landmark occasion meant there was more of everything this year with a superb feast laid on by the company, live music, a fun game in the gardens raising money for the FORCE Cancer Charity and a record turnout of staff from across the 33 offices joined in the celebrations.

Group Chairman, Brian Bradley, gathered everyone together half way through the celebrations to thank everyone for their hard work and in particular bringing the focus to the people that made the company the success it is today; the staff. Brian explained just how incredible the loyalty of our staff are and that is the foundation of any great company “Over 80 staff have been with the company for more than 10 years, 13 staff have been with us for over 20 years and 3 staff members; Cathy Nickels, Lisa Findel-Hawkins and Robin Middleton have been with us from the start”. Following a presentation to the original 3 staff members, the other co-founders; Lyndon Bent and Mike Dibble were joined by their fellow Directors when presented with a large 25th anniversary cake.

The evening was enjoyed by all that attended and with many of the staff commenting on the event being the best BBQ they had been too, it looks like the company are going to have to start planning next year’s event now if they want to surpass this one!
