Charity Dodgeball event proves hugely popular!

On Tuesday 28th February, among many other local businesses within Mid Devon, East Devon and Exeter, Bradleys Estate Agents joined those who came together to play a glow in the dark dodgeball tournament in order to raise vital funds for Hospiscare.

A thrilling and very enjoyable event was hosted by Exe Mortgages and ran by SportyStars, who co-ordinated a tournament, made up of 8 minute games with the aim to get out as many people in the opposing team as possible. Bradleys entered two teams into the tournament; ‘Dodge Reservoir’ and ‘Game of Throwns’ both teams battled hard in the first four games, with Game of Throwns winning three out of four games, getting them into the play off’s.

Sadly Game of Throwns were defeated in the play off’s by AwcockWard Partnership who went on to be joint third with Luxury Coastal. Griffin Chartered Accountants were awarded with second place and the winners of the tournament were The Big Step.

Well done to the team at Exe Mortgages for co-ordinating such a fantastic event and for raising a grand total of £1,400. These vital funds can do so much to help Hospiscare by funding bereavement counselling for someone who has lost a loved one, help fund an hour of exceptional expert nursing care, and allow a Hospiscare Community Nurse Specialist to remain with a patient at the end of their life. Team Bradleys are excited for a re-match next year, and to of course continue to raise money in order to support Hospiscare further this year.”
