Climbing for a Cause - Nathan Ball Takes on Snowdon for Mental Health Awareness

- Wed 18 Mar 2026

At Bradleys Estate Agents, we are more than just property experts; we are a community that stands together. This April, we are incredibly proud to spotlight Nathan Ball, a dedicated Trainee Negotiator in our Plymouth office, as he prepares to swap the streets of Devon for the rugged peaks of North Wales.

On 4th April, Nathan and four close friends will be taking on the formidable climb of Snowdon (Yr Wyddfa). While the physical challenge of reaching the 1,085-meter summit is daunting, their true motivation is deeply personal.

After the heartbreaking loss of a close friend last year, the group found themselves navigating the complexities of grief and the stark reality of the mental health crisis. This climb is a tribute to friendship, a journey of healing, and a mission to ensure no man feels he has to face his battles alone.

Supporting Andy’s Man Club

The team is raising vital funds for Andy’s Man Club, a suicide prevention charity that offers free-to-attend peer-to-peer support groups across the UK. Their goal is to end the stigma surrounding men’s mental health and provide a space where "it’s okay to talk."

“This past year has been a massive wake-up call for all of us,” says Nathan. “Losing a mate changes your perspective instantly. We’re climbing Snowdon not just to test our limits, but to shout from the mountaintop that talking about your struggles isn't a weakness - it’s a strength. If we can help even one person realise they don't have to suffer in silence, every step up that mountain will be worth it.”

How You Can Help

As Nathan represents the Bradleys Plymouth team on this trek, we are calling on our clients, colleagues, and local community to get behind him. Whether you are looking for houses for sale in Plymouth or are a long-time local resident, your support can make a tangible difference.

  • Donate: Every pound goes directly to supporting Andy’s Man Club.
  • Share: If you can’t donate, sharing Nathan’s story on social media is incredibly powerful.
  • Check-in: In the spirit of the climb, take a moment today to check in on a friend or colleague.

We are all rooting for Nathan and his friends as they prepare for the 4th of April. It’s inspiring to see our staff embodying the values of empathy and resilience that make Bradleys the leading estate agent in the West Country.
