Community Chest: Meet the Winners!

Bradleys Estate Agents, in partnership with Robertson Developments Ltd, is thrilled to announce the winners of our Autumn Community Chest initiative! This fantastic project allows us to give back to the local communities we’re so proud to serve - supporting clubs and groups that make a real difference across Camborne, Redruth, Helston and Porthleven.

This season, we awarded £1,000, £500, and £250 in sponsorship to three incredible community organisations. Here’s a look at our deserving winners:

£1,000 Winner - Camborne Youth Hub

On Wednesday evening, Sian and Claire from Bradleys Estate Agents joined Jason Mitchell, Managing Director of Robertson Developments Ltd, at Holman Sports Club to present James Ball, Camborne’s Town Mayor and founder of Camborne Youth Hub, with a cheque for £1,000.

This sponsorship will help the team continue providing vital services for local young people. One of their biggest challenges is finding suitable venues with both indoor and outdoor space - so if you know of a facility that could help, please get in touch!

£500 Winner - Helston RFC Girls

Over the weekend, Bradleys New Homes Manager Sian met with Helston RFC Girls to hand over their £500 sponsorship. The visit was a real celebration of passion, teamwork, and community spirit.

Helston RFC Girls have joined forces with St Ives RFC Girls to create one super team - showing incredible dedication to growing girls’ rugby in Cornwall. We’re so proud to support these inspiring young players as they continue to thrive on and off the pitch!

£250 Winner - Porthleven Gig Club

On Saturday morning, Jason Mitchell from Robertson Developments Ltd and Lydia from our Helston office met with members of Porthleven Gig Club to present their £250 cheque.

The club, which welcomes members aged 14 to 80, keeps the traditional Cornish sport of pilot gig rowing alive - promoting fitness, teamwork, and friendship. Their prize will go towards purchasing a mobile defibrillator (AED) to keep crews safe while training at sea.
