They say estate agents are a competitive bunch but put us in a room with foam balls and a great cause, and we truly transform. The Bradleys team recently traded their suits for sports gear to take part in a Charity Dodgeball Tournament, and while we went in for the fun, we stayed for the fire. Best of all, 100% of the proceeds from the event were donated to St Luke’s Hospice in Plymouth, an organisation that does incredible work providing specialist care for our local community.
While we might be more at home at a property viewing than on a dodgeball court, the team’s competitive spirit served us well. Facing some very strong local competition, we were delighted to progress through the group stages and secure a spot in the semi-finals. The evening was full of high energy and plenty of laughs, even if our dodgeball careers did eventually come to an abrupt end during a particularly intense final match.
Managing Director, Kevin James explained after the event “The following morning, the team certainly felt the effects of the tournament, but the aches and pains were a small price to pay for such a brilliant cause. Raising money for St Luke’s was the primary goal, and the event was a fantastic way to support their essential services.
We are already looking forward to the next opportunity to get involved and support our local charities - though we might need a little more practice before we step back onto the court!”
