Many people see January as a way of kick starting their goals whether that’s fitness, personal or career wise. It is always great to see when members of the Bradleys Team use their personal drive of reaching their goals to also set themselves a challenge and raise money for charity.
Donna Clarke, a Negotiator from Bradleys Plympton Branch has challenged herself to run 40 miles in January to raise money for The Royal Marsden Cancer Charity. The Charity raises money solely to support The Royal Marsden, a world-leading cancer centre. With the support of peoples donations, The Royals Marsden Cancer Charity supports life-saving research, giving patients around the world access to the latest breakthrough drugs. Adding on to that, it also offers patients world leading treatment and care by investing in the latest state of the art equipment and the charity funds modern patient’s environments.
The Royal Marsden Cancer Charity is an important cause to Donna as she sadly lost her Dad to cancer 24 years ago, Donna commented “I wanted to take part in the challenge, as it’s an important cause close to my heart. Hopefully by raising money, it will helps others fighting this awful diseases as well as getting healthier myself in the process. As we near the end of the month I have ran 26 miles with 14 left to go!”
If you would like to support Donna by donating as much or as little as possible, please click here - it would be greatly appreciated.
