Bradleys Estate Agents are delighted to be one of the sponsors, supporting the Somerset County Show taking pace on the 17th and 18th of September from 9am – 5pm at Taunton Racecourse.
The two day event will enjoy a full line up of equestrian events including Shetland Pony Racing and a visit from the Mounted Police horses from Bristol. There will be 100's of stands including large craft marquees and a food and drinks festival with a performance from The Wurzels at 3.30pm on the Sunday on the Tone FM and Richard Huish College community stage.
The countryside arena is always a favourite with fun dog shows and demonstrations, falconry, ferret racing, the Alpaca Village and there will be a new Sport and Club zone area with drumming , cricket, football and have a go areas.
Not forgetting celebrity chef Lesley Waters will be hosting and cooking with many other award winning local chefs as well as a funfair, classic car display and miniature train ride area.
Make sure you book your tickets to avoid disappointment, tickets on sale now from www.somersetcountyshow.co.uk. Adults £12.50 pp, children 6-16 £5 pp, under 5's are free, family ticket £30 (2 adults and 2 children 6-16), there is also currently a 10% discount if you attend both days.
If you own a classic vehicle you can attend the show for free with a friend, email [email protected] to get booked in. Free entry for carer with disabled badge holder (works out half price each). There will be a bus from Taunton Mecca Bingo to the racecourse four times a day, free public parking onsite if you travel by car and there will also be the offer of hiring a mobility scooter should you need it.
