East Devon Pro-Am Delivers Another Great Day of Golf

- Tue 02 Jun 2026

The annual East Devon Pro-Am once again brought together professionals and amateurs for a fantastic day of competitive golf, with 38 teams taking to the course in excellent conditions.

The individual professional competition was won by Richard Woods of Dainton Park, who produced an impressive round of 68 (-2). Woods showed great consistency throughout his round, recording four birdies and just one bogey to claim the professional title.

In the team competition, the winners were a strong side from Clevedon Golf Club, who finished with an outstanding 91 points narrowly edged out the runners-up to take the team honours.

The day also helped support an important charitable cause, with fundraising efforts for the RNLI taking place throughout the event. Thanks to the generosity of players and supporters, £670 was raised to support Jim Brooks' RNLI fundraising challenge, adding another positive outcome to an already successful day and highlighting the golfing community's continued commitment to supporting worthy local causes.

As one of the proud sponsors of the event, Bradleys Estate Agents were delighted to be part of another successful Pro-Am. Representing the Bradleys team were Richard Greetham, Kai Logan, Josh Findel-Hawkins and professional Joe Yorke. While they gave it their best effort and thoroughly enjoyed the day, their golf wasn't quite enough to challenge the leading teams, finishing in 21st place from a field of 38 teams.

Josh Findel-Hawkins commented:

“It was a great event and really well organised by the club along with the greenkeeping team, whilst our golf wasn’t at it’s best, it was great to meet so many other people, support the local charities, especially the RNLI who are so vital to our region.”

The event was another excellent showcase for East Devon Golf Club, combining competitive golf, great camaraderie and strong support from players, volunteers and sponsors alike. Bradleys Estate Agents are pleased to support such a well-regarded event and look forward to returning next year.
