The Exeter Golf and Country Club Ladies Pro-am took place on Tuesday 16th May in glorious sunshine with the course offering a perfectly manicured lush green colour. All was set for the hotly contested Ladies Pro-am.
The event, now in its 15th year, features 3 ladies playing with a PGA Professional taking part in a team event, with the professional also playing an individual event. The proceeds from the days event goes to the Ladies Captain, Debbie Bent’s chosen charity – the RD&E charity.
The competition between the Professionals proved as close as ever, with the eventual winner Joe Ferguson pipping Ryan Pope and Barry Austin who tied in second place. The Team event, also proved to be a closely run event with the East Devon GC running out as the eventual winners.
Bradleys Estate Agents were one of the sponsors of the event, Marketing Director, Kai Logan commented “We are delighted to sponsor such a great event, now in its 15th year. The course looked great and there were clearly some excellent performances today judging by the scores. Congrats to today’s winners of the team event, and the individual Pro’s event. I would also like to say well done to Debbie Bent the Ladies Captain, who has helped arrange everything and as a result the superb amount of £2,752 that was raised, will go to a great cause – the Royal Devon and Exeter Hospital charity.”
