Family delighted to be the first of many moving in to the Silver Hill development

First-time buyers Chen Ang and his wife are the first family to move into Silver Hill, a new development located in Crownhill off Tamerton Foliot Road.

The Silver Hill development is a perfect location for those looking to live in the city yet have a rural feel. The development offers a great range of 3 and 4 bedroom homes with allocated parking and some with garages. Silver Hill is a partnership project between Plymouth Community Homes Regeneration (PCHR) and Halsall Homes which will see 38 homes built – 27 for private sale, six for shared ownership, and five which are available for affordable rent.

Mr Ang first got in touch with our Bradleys Mannamead branch after seeing an advert for the development. During this time, our office guided Mr and Mrs Ang through the different stages of the purchase of their first home all the way to completion, which has come at a perfect time as they prepare to welcome their first child.

As first-time buyers, the Ang family look forward to putting down roots in Plymouth and being the first family to join the Silver Hill community. Mr Ang commented “It’s very exciting to be the first family that moves into Silver Hill as we’ve been waiting for our home to be completed. It feels like a dream come true, and we would like to see more people move into Silver Hill and form a small community here.”

“My wife and I were so excited when we were told about the completion date after the exchange of contracts which means we are able to move in before our baby arrives. We already lived in Plymouth for more than a year after moving from Penzance. We had been looking for a new build and chose Silver Hill because of the location. It’s close to where we work and it’s not far from good schools, the hospital and local shops. Another reason is the surrounding area with the woods opposite so we’re close to nature.”
