Freya joins Dan on his walk for wellbeing

Freya Drew, Negotiator in Bradleys Estate Agents Taunton office is showing her support for Dan James, Corporate and Community Fundraiser for Mind in Somerset who came up with the idea of walking 55 laps of the Copper Associates County Ground pitch, the equivalent 20 miles.

Dan secured 50 businesses to sponsor his efforts the majority of them, including Bradleys Estate Agents, are joining him on part of his challenge to show their support. The event takes place on World mental Health Day, Thursday October 10th.

Dan explained “I thought this may reflect the way some days can feel when people are struggling, going around and around in circles. We know exercise, fresh air and talking to people can all help and that is exactly what I’ll be doing during the course of the challenge.”

Mind has been created to offer support and help to anyone struggling with mental illness. Their core purpose is to help improve the quality of life for anyone affected by mental illness. They offer a 24/7 helpline, plus many activities to those suffering and have offices in Taunton, Yeovil, Minehead, Bridgwater and Shepton Mallet although offer services across the county.

Freya added “Mental Health affects everyone in some way or another whether it be themselves or someone they know so when Dan contacted us, we instantly said yes. Mind in Somerset is such an important charity, and we’re pleased to help them on this. I wish Dan all the best and hope my laps help him break up the 55 laps he will endure.”
