Gina is running the 2024 TCS London Marathon for Barnardo’s!

Gina Thompson, New Homes Sales Advisor at Copper Hills, a popular new homes development in Hayle, Cornwall, has set herself the challenge to run the London Marathon for Barnardo’s which is a charity very close to her heart.

Barnardo's is a British charity founded by Thomas John Barnardo in 1866, to care for vulnerable children. As of 2013, it raised and spent around £200 million each year running around 900 local services, aimed at helping these same groups. It is the UK's largest children's charity, in terms of charitable expenditure.

Leading up to the Marathon, Gina will be doing a cake sale on Friday 23^rd February at Copper Hills sales office. If you are looking for a sweet treat and to help a good cause, pop along to the site!

Gina commented; “For all the people out there who have experienced trauma in their life, I hope you can take inspiration from me that you hold all the strength and power to live the life you deserve. Please support me and other families/children who may need the help and care that Barnardo’s can offer. I am not a runner, but I am determined to fight hard on the day.”
