Great success at Honiton’s Gate to Plate Festival

Gate to plate returned with great success with over 70 stalls, the streets were buzzing with people picking out all their favourites from the finest foods and crafts on offer!

The event continues the towns long established and wonderful tradition, dating back to the 13th Century when Honiton was granted a Royal Charter to hold a market.

With such fantastic variety of stalls from, gourmet meats, cheeses, locally produced wine and cider, desserts, pastries and homewares. Not forgetting the fantastic hot food stalls, including specialist macaroni and cheese, Thai food and churros stand! There was great entertainment from Punch and Judy, strolling entertainers, followed by DJs and a great performance from Tidal Tales Collective in the afternoon.
