Honiton Team had a woolly wonderful time raising money for Save the Children!

- Wed 13 Dec 2023

Bradleys Estate Agents in Honiton, on Thursday, 8th December, proudly participated in Save the Children's Christmas Jumper Day! From 10am to 2pm, the team wore their most colourful, quirky, and cosy Christmas jumpers, creating a festive atmosphere and invited all their customers in for a festive drink and mince pies to mark the occasion.

Christmas jumper day is held annually on 7th December, it’s a nationwide effort where individuals, workplaces, schools, and friends come together, wear festive knits, and make donations to support Save The Children. The funds raised are dedicated to ensuring that children in the UK and around the world can stay safe, healthy, and continue learning.

Since 2012, Save the Children's Christmas Jumper Day has made a significant impact, with millions of people contributing to the cause. Last year alone, an incredible total of £5 million was raised, including £2 million in match funding from the UK government. This support has made a huge difference, providing essentials like warm shoes for babies in Afghanistan, math packs for children in the UK, and sustaining families who have escaped war in Ukraine with enough food for an entire month.

Vicki Harris from Bradleys Honiton Branch commented; “It was a fantastic day, opening the office to the public and welcoming them in for a festive drink. We were all super happy to be cosy in our Christmas jumpers and had a wonderful feeling knowing we are supporting the Children through this tough time.”

Bradleys Estate Agents Honiton would like to thank everyone who participated, donated, and shared in the festive spirit on this special Christmas Jumper Day. The collective effort of the community has made a meaningful difference in the lives of children, and the team looks forward to continued support in the future.
