Hospiscare bake sale success!

On Saturday 4^th May, our Honiton branch put on a fantastic bake sale in order to raise money for Hospiscare!

The cake sale was a great success with a total of £160.00 made on the day through our Just giving page and cash donations in the Honiton branch. It was very well supported by the local community in Honiton and one resident even brought some bakery doughnuts in as well! Due to May the 4^th being Star Wars day, we had star wars themed cupcakes, lemon drizzle slices, a yummy Victoria sponge cake and brownies all made by the Honiton office.

Hospiscare are an independent local charity supporting people in Devon, living with life-limiting illnesses for over 40 years. They expanded their area over that time and now cover over 1,000 square miles of our county including Exeter, East and Mid Devon and North Dartmoor. If you’ve been diagnosed with any type of terminal illness, their expert doctors and nurses are here to help. Their services include support at home, a specialist palliative care ward, out-patients clinics, and supportive therapies.

Hazel, Trainee Negotiator in Bradleys Honiton branch commented; “It was great to see many Honitonions in the office enjoying a slice of cake, coffee and a chat whilst raising vital funds for a such a fabulous charity! We look forward to many more coffee and cake mornings to come.”
