It’s time to walk and talk!

Join us for our next fundraising event, this time in Taunton; The Big Somerset Cricket Bash taking place on Sunday 25th June from 9am. The event is a 10k charity walk, fuelled by bacon sandwiches, where participants have free entry to cheer on Somerset County Cricket Club as they take on Nottinghamshire on the first day of the County Championship match.

Throughout the day men and women will be coming together to share precious memories of family and friends who have sadly passed away. They will talk openly about their feelings and the realities of losing a loved one, the bereavement and grief that follows, as well as learning to adapt to a new way of life.

Kai Logan, Bradleys Marketing Director commented “It’s fantastic to see that with the support from Somerset Cricket Club and The Big Somerset Cricket Bash sponsors, Rotec, St Margarets Hospiscare are able to provide an outlet for men and women to feel empowered in order to come together and talk openly about their bereavement struggles. The team from Bradleys Estate Agents Taunton office are delighted to be able to support the event by volunteering during the day in order to cheer on those walking and hand out those well deserved bacon sarnies and refreshments.”

Men, women and children are welcome, but tickets are limited and based on a first come first serve basis, early booking is recommended as it is anticipated the event will be a sell-out!
