The property sector has experienced many changes over recent years and with the government seeking further changes in the future, it has never been more important for property professionals to keep up to date with the latest changes.

Propertymark, the industry body for property professionals, held their national conference in Bishopsgate, London hosted by Phil Spencer recently with Kevin James and Kai Logan attending to represent Bradleys among the hundreds of other estate agents keen to learn and understand what is required to maintain the upmost professionalism.

A range of specialists took to the stage including a speaker from Trading Standards about displaying more information upfront to potential buyers, something which is long overdue following the removal of Home Information Packs in 2009. There were marketing experts explaining that estate agents should aim to provide more useful hints and tips for home movers plus there were representatives from many technology firms, offering the latest ways to help automate many aspects of the process, something which divides opinion in the property world.

New Homes Director, Kevin James commented “It has been a very insightful day where we have gained more clarity around new guidance, experienced new technology that could help streamline the selling of property as well as networked with lots of fellow professionals. It is good to see the return of such events and ensure we are all working to improve our industry.”
