London to Paris in under 24 hours on bike!

Company Director Richard Greetham and Manager of our Budleigh office Robin Burne have set themselves a new mammoth challenge of cycling from London to Paris in just 24 hours. The journey will total 240 miles, split over 2 days, London to Newhaven, a mere 90 miles then a quick 6 hour break as they cross the English Channel to Dieppe. Once in France they will undertake a massive 140 mile push through to Paris along Champs-Elysees and finishing at the Eiffel Tower.

The cause this year is a hugely important and life changing charity, as all the money raised will go to Action Medical Research for children. Despite enormous progress in medicine, there are still hundreds of thousands of sick and disabled children who need our help.

Action Medical Research is offering hope to the many thousands of families who are dealing with the trauma of a baby born too early, striving to support a child affected by disability, or facing the challenge of caring for a child with a rare and devastating disease for which there is no cure.

Right now the best medical minds in children’s hospitals and universities across the UK are waiting for the green light to start research that could lead to life-changing treatments for babies and children.
