We’re delighted to reveal the winners of our Community Chest campaign, a joint initiative between Bradleys Estate Agents and Robertson Developments aimed at supporting inspiring local groups making a real difference in their communities.

After a fantastic response filled with passion, dedication, and true community spirit, we’re proud to announce the three groups selected to receive this season’s sponsorship awards:

£1,000 Winner: The Grow Box CIC

£500 Winner: Troon AFC

£250 Winner: Porthleven Environmental Group

A huge thank you to everyone who entered - we were overwhelmed by the incredible stories and projects being run throughout the region. Each application reflected the heart and soul of our local communities.

Meet the Winners

The Grow Box CIC – £1,000 Winner

Based in Redruth, The Grow Box is a Community Interest Company run by local couple Martin and Fran, whose backgrounds in hospitality are matched by a shared passion for community wellbeing. Operating a welcoming café at Krowji, The Grow Box also offers shared growing spaces, hosts inclusive events, and reinvests every penny of profit into projects tackling loneliness and promoting mental health. It’s more than a café - it’s a hub for connection, resilience, and local impact.

Troon AFC – £500 Winner

Troon AFC is a shining example of what volunteer spirit can achieve. Entirely volunteer-run and catering to members aged 3 to 86, the club is home to more than 350 players. From preschoolers kicking their first ball to seasoned adult teams, the club provides a safe, inclusive space for sport, friendship, and lifelong community ties.

Porthleven Environmental Group – £250 Winner

The Porthleven Environmental Group (PEG) is committed to making the local area greener, cleaner, and more connected. Their hands-on efforts include community gardens, beach cleans, conservation work, and educational outreach - bringing people together to care for their shared environment.

Together with Robertson Developments, we at Bradleys are incredibly proud to support these three outstanding groups. Your work is what makes our communities thrive.
