After months of preparation and waiting for the right conditions, Nathan successfully completed his Snowdon challenge on Saturday 16th May, raising awareness for mental health and achieving a huge personal milestone.
Setting off in the early hours of the morning, Nathan and his friends Ollie and Zack began the walk at around 5:30am, taking on the famous Welsh mountain as the sun began to rise. With clear conditions finally on their side, the team made excellent progress and completed the full challenge in just over four hours, returning to the car by approximately 9:15am.
Originally planned earlier in the year, the walk had been postponed due to poor weather and unsafe conditions, making the successful attempt even more rewarding.
Nathan took on the challenge to help raise awareness surrounding mental health, an issue that affects so many people across the country. The achievement reflects not only the physical challenge of climbing Snowdon, but also the determination and resilience behind the cause.
Speaking after completing the walk, Nathan said:
“It was such an amazing experience and I’m incredibly proud that we finally managed to complete it after waiting for the right conditions. Starting before sunrise made it even more special, and reaching the top knowing we were doing it for such an important cause made every step worth it. The support from everyone has been unbelievable.”
Everyone at Bradleys would like to congratulate Nathan, Ollie and Zack on this fantastic achievement and thank everybody who has shown support throughout the challenge.
Well done Nathan!
