Nick, our Camborne Branch Manager and also a dedicated facilitator at Sunrise Cornwall, is preparing to take on an incredible challenge in support of a cause close to his heart. On May 18, 2025, he will be diving from 8,000 feet, facing speeds of up to 120 mph, in a thrilling skydive to raise vital funds for Sunrise Cornwall CIC. The money raised will help support the organisations mission to offer essential support to individuals affected by loss through suicide.
Sunrise Cornwall provides a safe, welcoming space for those grieving or struggling with the impact of suicide, where they can meet others, share their experiences, and find comfort. The charity fosters an environment where people can open up at their own pace, whether through talking, music, art, or wellbeing events. These spaces are designed to help individuals feel less isolated and more supported as they navigate their grief and healing process.
Nick’s daring skydive is not only a personal challenge but a way to ensure Sunrise Cornwall can continue to offer these invaluable services to those who need them most. His courageous act will help shine a light on the importance of community, connection, and support during difficult times.
