Octavia cuts her hair for the Little Princess Trust

Octavia Withers, a Sales Negotiator from Bradleys Estate Agents Branch in Newquay has cut 16 inches off her hair to donate to the Little Princess Trust, a charity that creates wigs from real hair for boys and girls who have lost their hair whilst battling cancer.

We asked Octavia a few questions about her involvement in the charity:

- Is there a special reason you have chosen this charity?

There isn’t a special reason no, just thought it is a lovely cause.

- Can you confirm what the longest amount of hair is that you have donated?

The most I have donated is 16inches which was this time round. The other two times I have donated 15inches and 14inches.

- How long does it take you to grow your hair back?

It usually takes about 3.5 years to grow back to this length, I don’t have any haircuts between.

- Do you have any plans to do it again?

I would imagine I will continue to do it yes, not everyone can grow their hair like I can so it seems like a nice thing to do to help those poor children.
