Our new charity partnership with Exeter Deaf Academy

- Fri 29 Jan 2016

We are proud to announce our charity partner for 2016 is the Exeter Royal Academy for Deaf Education. We will be encouraging over 200 staff across our 33 branches to tackle a range of fundraising activities to support the Deaf Academy.

The Deaf Academy, one of Exeter’s oldest charities has ambitious plans to relocate from their current site on Topsham Road to an innovative purpose build New Academy in Exeter, due to open in January 2017. This year-long charity partnership will support this exciting new build project.

We officially launched the charity partnership at our Annual Conference, pictured are Kai Logan, Brian Bradleys, Tori Vince of the Exeter Deaf Academy and Francis Marshall.

A mix of Directors and Senior Managers from Bradleys previously attended a tour of the Exeter Deaf Academy and were incredibly inspired by the students and their achievements they have pledged to raise as much as we possibly can in 12 months for the New Build Appeal.

Group Chairman, Brian Bradley, said:
"We were incredibly inspired to be involved with The Deaf Academy after a selection of staff visited their current premises to witness first-hand the extraordinary work they are doing. It is such an exciting time for everyone involved and we are also excited to be a part of that."

Exeter Deaf Academy Head of Public Appeal, Tori Vince, added:
"the support and help we receive from corporate partners such as Bradleys is hugely important. We are thrilled to have Bradleys backing, this is a fantastic platform for raising awareness of the Deaf Academy and our New Build Project. Huge thanks to Bradleys for their commitment to building this partnership."
