We’re delighted to share that Bradleys Group Accounts Manager, Rachel Hiland, will be appearing on stage this March in an exciting and thought-provoking new adaptation of Nora: A Doll’s House.
Nora: A Doll’s House, adapted by Stef Smith from Henrik Ibsen’s groundbreaking 1879 play, reframes the drama across three different time periods — the fight for women’s suffrage, the Swinging Sixties, and the modern day. The story follows Nora, the seemingly perfect wife and mother, whose life begins to unravel when a secret from her past resurfaces. Over the course of three days, she must fight to protect herself and her family — or risk losing everything.
Ibsen’s original portrayal of womanhood caused outrage when it first premiered, and this urgent, poetic new version continues to challenge audiences, asking how far we have really come in the past hundred years.
Please note: this production contains adult themes and strong language and may not be suitable for younger audiences.
The performances run at 7.30pm from Monday 23rd to Saturday 28th March 2026, with an additional matinee performance on Saturday at 2.30pm at the Blackmore Theatre in Exmouth.
