Redhills and Bradleys create festive feeling in Exeter

- Wed 25 Nov 2020

With 2020 being such a tough year many people are trying to create some festive cheer a little earlier than normal and that is certainly the case in Exeter. Chris Dines, Manager of Bradleys Cowick Street office, contacted Redhills Primary School earlier this year looking to get their pupils to spread the festive cheer by designing festive postcards of what the this time of year means to them.

Having met with Head Teacher, William Jaworski, it was agreed that all pupils at Redhills would design a postcard and then Chris would feature all the entries in the Cowick Street office window to show the public. In addition to their designs being displayed, each year would have a winning design that would see them receive a voucher for Thomas Moore, Toymaster. Chris will also select two lucky winners, one from key stage 1 and another from key stage 2, who will get their design printed professionally in a pack of postcards that they will be able to send to their friends and family.

Chris explained “We really wanted to bring forward the festive feeling a little earlier this year and give something back to the community. School children in particular have suffered without being able to go to school and in addition to attend lessons, socialise, which is such an important part of learning. We’re delighted to work with the staff and pupils at Redhills and look forward to seeing all the entries soon, although picking a winner may not be so easy!”

Designs will be on display from the start of December in Bradleys Cowick Street office with winners being announced via their Facebook page and the Redhills website.
