Last month Bradleys and Redhills Primary teamed up to spread some festive cheer throughout the city after a very tough 2020. Chris Dines, Manager of Bradleys Cowick Street office, contacted Redhills Primary School earlier this year looking to get their pupils to spread the festive cheer by designing festive postcards of what this time of year means to them.
Chris had the idea to bring forward the festive feeling a little earlier this year and give something back to the community. School children in particular have suffered with school work being disrupted and not being able to socialise with their peers, a very important part of learning. Hopefully with the pupils and teachers working together to produce the Christmas postcards, it would bring them a little joy and fun to end a hard year.
All pupils at Redhills Primary school designed a postcard that was featured in our Bradleys Cowick Street window, displayed to the public. Chris commented:
'We were overwhelmed with the high standard of entries, it certainly made my job of picking two winners very hard! The postcards lit up our Bradleys window display making the office look very festive and welcoming so thank you Redhills for your tremendous effort and for brightening up our Christmas'
After much deliberation Chris picked two fantastic winners, one from Key Stage 1 and one from Key Stage 2, the winning designs are featured in the image below for you to take a look. The winners received a pack of professionally printed postcards to send to their family and friends, a voucher for Thomas Moore, Toymaster and in addition to this, the designs were so good that the Exeter Cowick Street office used them as their office Christmas cards this year!
