Rightmove Reveals Best Months to Sell!

Rightmove has highlighted that February and March are the most favourable months for homeowners looking to sell, with properties listed during this period statistically more likely to find a buyer than at any other time of the year.

The portal’s latest figures show that two-thirds of homes put on the market during these months go on to complete successfully, based on data from the past decade.

February is also one of the fastest months to secure a buyer, averaging 51 days, alongside January. March and April follow closely behind at 52 days.

Rightmove also identifies January and April as strong months for sales, and early 2025 is already showing positive signs for estate agents. Buyer demand has risen by 8% year-on-year, and completed sales are up by 15%.
