As November has now drawn to a close, Bradleys Estate Agents would like to commend the Men in the company that have taken part in Movember by either growing a moustache or challenging themselves to run 60km throughout the month.
Movember is a leading charity changing the face of men’s mental health and suicide prevention, prostate cancer and testicular cancer. Globally, on average 1 man dies of suicide every minute of every day, 1 in 8 UK men will be diagnosed with prostate cancer in their lifetime and testicular cancer is the most common cancer in young UK men.
With these hard hitting statistics Movember are working tirelessly to raise awareness in order to Improve overall mental health by helping men build stronger social connections that can reduce the risk of suicide. In addition to funding critical biomedical research, Movember works with their global men’s health partners to break new ground in order to improve the quality of life for the 10 million people living with prostate cancer. From medical research to easy-to-use digital resources, they are also making leaps and bounds in testicular cancer support.
Raising awareness for the Movember charity is important all year round, however throughout November Men and Women are able to do their bit by either growing a moustache or pledging to run 60km throughout the month. From Bradleys Estate Agents Josh Shirley, Harry Edwards, Nick Edwards, Tom Graham-Peet and James Rothwell all took part in either one of the challenges. Well done to all for their efforts in raising awareness for such an important cause.
Kai Logan, Bradleys Marketing Director commented “A huge well done goes out to all that have taken part in raising awareness for the Movember charity which highlights such an important cause and it is great to see people from Bradleys Estate Agents getting involved in opening the gateways to have more conversations about both mental and physical illnesses that in one way or another affects us all.”
