Rounding up our 30th year filled with charity events

2022 saw Bradleys Estate Agents reach it’s 30th year and with that, we pledged to get involved as much as possible in the community. Proudly, our offices took part in our pledge and many branches sponsored a local primary school within their village, town or city.

To name a few of our highlights, not only did our offices sponsor their local primary schools, as a company we took part in Hospiscares 40 club. Hospiscare also celebrated a milestone anniversary in which they reached 40 years since setting up their extremely important charity. With the pandemic having taken a real knock to their fundraising events they asked 40 local businesses to be part of their club and pledge to raise £1,000 to help those in need of their fantastic care. Bradleys Estate Agents are proud to have raised £1,444 in 2022 and have signed up again this year to raise another £1,000, or more of course!

Adding to this, our Paignton and Brixham branches joined forces to raise vital funds for the Rowcroft Hospice, which is based in Torquay and has been serving in their community for the last 40 years, with 2,137 patients receiving their support in the last year alone. The two branches raised an extraordinary £1,194 by cycling on spinning bikes all day outside of their offices.

Our Plymstock office raised an impressive £474 for Ukraine by cycling 298 miles across two days – the distance between Kyiv and Odessa, and a member of our Hayle branch took part in a synchronised swimming event that also raised money for Ukraine. Not forgetting numerous charity golf tournaments, running races and cake sales that were also taken part in.

Brian Bradley, Group Chairman commented “We have celebrated a fantastic 30th year and I feel tremendously proud of all of our staff who have contributed so much back to the communities we have been working in for so many years. I look forward to seeing this continue and raising even more money for these incredible causes!”
