Group Sales Director, Darren Ellis, celebrates a milestone birthday by flying a Spitfire! Darren has always been fascinated by history and especially the two world wars. To fly in a Spitfire was a bucket list item that he wondered if he would ever would tick off so to have received this gift from his family for his 50th birthday was amazing!

Darren was even asked to take control of the plane by the instructor for a short period, which was something he never thought he would have done. Shortly after Darren had control, the pilot peeled away and carried out various aerobatics to finish what was an incredible experience.
