Scrummy success at Bradleys HQ coffee morning

Throughout September, Hospiscare have launched a coffee morning campaign, whereby they are encouraging people to host their own coffee morning in order to recognise the importance of sitting down and talking with a cup of coffee and/or delicious piece of cake.

Hospiscare supports over 2,500 patients each year as well as the families of those patients by just taking the time out to have a chat over putting the kettle, which always has a way of making things that little bit better. Because of this, Hospiscare were encouraging as many people as possible to get involved in hosting their own coffee morning and get chatting, whilst also raising vital funds for the charity.

Bradleys Head Office in Exmouth joined the Sidmouth and St Thomas branches in holding their own coffee morning on the last Friday of September. The event saw a range of cupcakes, a Victoria sponge, some chocolate brownies amongst other delicious baked items donated by some of the team at Stevenstone Road, along with a range of hot and cold drinks on offer where donations were made.

Kai Logan, Marketing Director commented “Hospiscare is a fantastic charity that offers constant support for their patients and families, which is why we didn’t hesitate in getting involved in their latest campaign. It was great to take a half an hour break to chat with colleagues over a drink and slice of cake whilst also raising money for charity. The only problem is that they were so delicious I had to go back for more, although it was for charity!”

Overall the Bradleys Head Office coffee morning raised £84.50, bringing the total raised by Bradleys towards Septembers Coffee Morning Campaign to £180.50.
